Autumn for me is undoubtedly associated with apple pie. They are so warm, flavoured and sunny. What could be better? Unless apple pie with... cinnamon, of course! This pie is one of the best pies I've ever eaten. It doesn't hold it's shape well -- it's more of a pudding pie -- and so I serve it in a bowl. It's more than delicious enough to make up for that, though.

I made these with extra pastry from yesterday's Cinder Banoffee Pie.
